Horizontal Divider

The book project listing below is divided into active book projects and project ideas. Projects are listed as active when an author or group of authors has decided to write the manuscript. Project ideas were suggested during discussions with faculty, but no commitment to move forward has been made.

Active conference projects and conference project ideas are listed on a separate page.

Active Book Projects

There are three categories of active book projects: final manuscripts received, first-draft manuscripts received, and manuscripts being written.

When the "first-draft manuscript" is received, NRAES conducts a peer review. The peer-review comments are sent to the author (or authors), and the author sends NRAES a "final manuscript." NRAES copyedits the final manuscript, sends any queries to the author, and prepares any photos or illustrations for design and printing. Then NRAES designs the book, and the author reviews the design before printing.

Final Manuscripts Received

Manuscripts in this category have been peer reviewed, and the author has submitted the final manuscript along with any photos or illustration ideas. Projects in this category are being either copyedited or designed, or the author is considering the editor's queries or reviewing the final design.
